Hi, let’s start by talking about what inspires you?
I’m inspired by the determination of women. Seeing how the women around me didn’t let their circumstances stop them from chasing their dreams gave me the courage to chase mine.

What should our readers know about your business?
I got here today by prayer. I fired myself about 3 times during this process. It’s not easy when you’re passionate about a project or passion and the outcome doesn’t match the vision. That’s how I knew that this is where I’m supposed to be. I kept coming back to the drawing board because this is all I have so it has to work. Starting MinxByHouston has taught me patience. I’ve learned that you can miss a lot of opportunities moving too fast. I had to learn that the hard way when looking for vendors. I made this brand with real women in mind that wants luxurious lashes without spending an arm and a leg. I got you.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
All the single mothers who let go of their fears and stepped out on faith becoming an entrepreneur. Even if you’re not where you think you want to be keep pushing. Your inspiring people without even knowing. Thank you!
