We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Dangerfield and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, what do you attribute your success to?
Authenticity is the driving force behind my success and the success of my brand. ALL IN was birthed from my life’s experiences, not something I read, fabricated, or witnessed. I’ve never viewed myself as anything more important or special than the next person however, when I look back over my life, it was the faith that God blessed me with that has given me the courage to go “all in” with anything I have decided to put my mind. I have committed my life to continuous growth and development, and I want the same for each and every person I have an opportunity to reach. I believe people see that I’m transparent, positive, and always seizing opportunities to become the best version of myself and they too they want that for themselves. Real people recognize the real value in going ALL IN!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston and the surrounding cities have so many great eateries and activities to engage in. Among my favorite restaurants in Houston area are Frank’s, Papadeaux’s, The Black Walnut Cafe, and Fogo De Chao. A trip to the southside of Houston warrants a stop by well-known Houston classic food spots such as Burger Park and Timmy Chan’s. The Arena Theatre and The Smart Financial Centre are known for having some of the best concerts and with the many sports teams in Houston, making plans to attend a professional sports game at The Toyota Center, NRG, Minute Maid Park, or Constellation Field is always a winner. Star Cinema Grill and Studio Movie Grill provide some of the best dine-in movie experiences and Main Event, Top Golf, and Miller Outdoor Theatre offer some family friendly fun activities. Houston’s night life is equally as amazing, if not more so than its buzzing daytime scene.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Highest praises to the Lord God. Without God I am nothing but with God, I can do All Things. I cannot thank my wife Tamara enough for being my biggest fan and partner, and my daughters Hope and Faith for loving me and trusting me to be the leader of the Dangerfield clan. My mom and dad who made certain that I knew God intimately as a kid and my older brothers and sisters who went out of their way to protect me and nurture the gifts they recognized in me early on in life. My Aunt Sarah, who has been a positive force in my life from day one, deserves much credit as well. One of my favorite books that I first read in high school, You Are What You Think by Dr. David Stoop, deserves honorable mention also. During my adolescence, that book opened my eyes to the concept of “self-talk,” introduced me to relationship between mental health and spirituality, and sold me on the God-given power we have as individuals to change our lives for the better when we change how we think. Various teachers, mentors, family, and friends, too many to name, have also invested in me throughout the years; they know who they are, and I have much love and respect for them. Last but not least, shout out to H-Town, Space City, Screwston; Houston, Texas owes me nothing, the pleasure has been all mine.
