We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Fontaine and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michael, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started Falcon Project Consultants to ensure that humanity has access to clean water. It is essential for human survival and I want to do my part in making sure that everyone has access to it.

Water is the most basic human need, and yet 1 in 9 people around the world don’t have access to clean water. That’s why I founded my company – to make sure that everyone has access to clean, safe water. We provide sustainable municipal and industrial water solutions so that communities and enterprises can thrive, regardless of their location or resources.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Falcon Project Consultants is a client focuses enterprise that provides project management consulting to communities and companies in need of clean water.

We work with the brightest minds in the industry to design and build water treatment plants, industrial solutions, and other infrastructure projects that bring clean water to communities around the world.

Our mission is to help humanity have access to clean water. We believe that clean water is a human right, and we are dedicated to ensuring that everyone has access to this essential resource. We are passionate about our work and committed to making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Falcon Project Consultants was founded in 2018 by technical experts who wanted to use their skills to make a difference in the world. We have worked on projects in dozens of countries around the world, and we are always looking for new opportunities to support communities in need.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Houston is one of the most dynamic, diverse cities in the US. It’s a great place to live or visit, with a thriving business community and many fun attractions that appeal to people from all walks of life. If you’re looking for some fun activities in Houston, here are just a few great places that I recommend:

-Visit the Space Center Houston to learn about the US space program and see some amazing exhibits
-Check out the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston for a dose of culture
-Take a detour to 1728 Ave M 1/2 in Galveston to enjoy the historical district, unique culture, and serene water views
-If you love nature, take a hike or bike ride through one of Houston’s many parks, such as Memorial Park or Hermann Park

For business leaders, in particular, Houston offers many opportunities to network and build relationships.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
John Rogers Jr., co-CEO of Ariel Investments, has a passion for investing that began at the age of 12 when his father started buying him stocks as Christmas and birthday gifts. After majoring in economics at Princeton University, he worked as a stockbroker for two years before founding Ariel Investments in 1983 to focus on value investing within small- and medium-sized companies. Mr. Rogers inspired me to major in Economics and study business, and his professional accomplishments include serving as a board member of McDonald’s, NIKE, The New York Times Company, and Ryan Specialty Group Holdings.
