We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael Weintrob and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I have always worked for myself. I always wanted to run my own business. If I put in the work I will benefit me and my family. I came up in the music business and would always see bands breaking up. At the end of the day you can’t break up with yourself 🙂
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I came up as a music photographer. I started shooting when I was 19 years old. I have never stopped. I stay focused and inspired. When one thing does not work I try to pivot to the next idea. I realized when I started selling my art if I can do this I can create freedom for my self. It has been a hard road but very gratifying.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would hang in East nashville It is COVID times so I would take him to Mas Tacos for lunch so we can sit out doors and then take, a walk in Shelby park,
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to give a shout out to Daneon Guess. He helped me to get my art prints off the found. He has always been the one to jump off the cliff with me.
