Meet Michele Foster | Neogentek – Chief Revenue Officer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michele Foster and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Michele, how do you think about risk?
I call risk-taking the land of opportunity. The light will burn out if you do not lean in change and growth and go for things that spark you.
I consider myself a driven person more than a risk taker, and a high performer always looking to serve my life others. My philosophy has allowed me to reinvent myself from corporate culture, my businesses as well as collaborative business models. I believe the biggest risk in life is not to leverage your ability to financially take care of yourself and you must have multiple income streams.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started in the business world as an employee working for Johnson & Johnson right out of college. That career taught me business skills that have made what I do now with Neogentek very system-savvy and extremely emotionally intelligent.

I believe working in Fortune 500 companies 4 of them over 34 years gave me a high-level view of business principles and many case studies, yet because I moved through a couple of companies I was able to develop my style and set up my own beliefs based of all of their best practices.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Houston, Texas, is fabulous! I would explore the diverse geography, which is lined with great food in each area. I would start downtown on day one, sightseeing the beautiful city, and then visit NASA on my way to the beach. I would take them from Corpus Christi to Mustang Island. After the beach life. On day two, I would go directly to Hill County and Fredericksburg, walk along the Guadalupe River in Kerrville, and end the day at the riverwalk in San Antonio with a delicious meal on the Riverwalk.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost, my life partner Dale Mark. His support, love, and mentorship have been a beacon for my success.
