Hi Mila, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate than mine on the present moment. – Buddha

This quote holds a lot of weight in my heart, it’s a constant reminder that I can’t change the things that have happened to me nor can I change the things that will happen to me, but what I can manage is what I do have going on in the current moment to maintain my peace, happiness, and over all life experience, that’s what I can do. That’s what I like about this quote intertwining the past, present, and future in a simplistic manner to show one that at one point in time the past was the present and the present will be the past as well as the future so always be vigilant.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
For the last year and a half I have been a stone cold stay at home mother dedicating my days and most of my nights to my pride and joy sweet baby boy. I have worked so many different jobs in my life from construction to education and it has always been a dream of mine to be a stay at home mom to do use in what makes me happy. So now all of the long hours and double shifts have paid off because I am able to keep up with my son through the days and my modeling career and other hobbies. Getting to where I am in life has not been easy at all I’ve gone through so many hardships that when I tell people my story they constantly asked me why I have not written a book yet. The only thing that kept me going through the course of my downfalls was the light of who I wanted to become, no matter what happened to me no matter how much money I didn’t have no matter how much food there wasn’t I knew who I was destined to be and I kept pushing myself our after hour day after day year after year. I learned a lot of lessons along the way but majority have to do with trust and making sure that you’ve picked the right person to instill your trust in. Now since I’m a mother it is all about making my brand well known in making myself a person of interest not for me but for my child so he can reap the benefits of everything to come. When the world hears the name Mila Milana I want them to think of a game changer someone who entered into the industry and wanted to help not only their self but others.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I myself am new to the Houston area however I do have a friend planning on coming in town soon so this is some thing that has been racking my brain for the last few weeks. However I definitely think I got my itinerary down pack first start as we’d have to get breakfast at Another Broken Egg Café as well as Toasted Yolk Café they have the fluffiest eggs one could imagine. And I have been dying to try the velvet taco so we would definitely have to go there for lunch stop, if you cannot forget the turkey leg hut that’s turkey leg and fries ordeal that they have going on is the best, there is also a few taco trucks that we would have to go get tortas from. Everybody’s probably waiting on me to mention the galleria but that’s not a place I would bring a friend that’s visiting me in Houston we would have to go to places like discover green or the street art district. I love Houston for all of its scenery and Greenidge that it offers the parks are extensive and there’s always a walking trail. I haven’t done much going out since I’ve lived here except for experiencing some of the places that we’ve had runway shows in so that would be something new to the both of us but I have heard you have to go downtown if you want to have the most fun

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Truthfully questions like this always get me to thinking in with all honesty there have only been a handful of people who have genuinely supported me with no ill feelings or intentions, really most people don’t see the light that shines for me the way I do. However my two biggest supporters have and will always be my Grandparents, I have been a lot of places in life and not all of them have been the best but without hesitation my Memaw and Pepaw have always had my back. To say the least everyone who is apart of my life either good or bad deserves a little credit.
