We had the good fortune of connecting with Molly G and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Molly, what role has risk played in your life or career?
I believe taking risks is apart of life. It’s something we do on a daily without even noticing. Going after what you want is all about taking risks. Whether you fail or not, you took that risk to go after or chase a dream.. nothing in this world is handed to you therefore you have to go after whatever it is you want in life. I’m a firm believer in taking risks, & seeing the outcome of it all.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Getting to where I am now was definitely not easy. It is still not easy, I work hard everyday to perfect my craft. I’m an up & coming actress and YouTube. I had to learn that nothing in this life comes easy, at-all! You have to literally work your butt off everyday just to be in the places that I’m in now and I thank God for that. I had to learn what hard work is and everyday I strive to surpass the goals I have already set for myself. Growing up, I knew I wanted to entertain others. It was something that was destined for me. So each day I will work harder and harder to get there, even when I’m “there” whatever that is.. I still won’t be satisfied because I’m always looking for more and wondering what else can I bring to the table?
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Chicago is so beautiful, and there is so much to explore let’s see if I cam sum it all in one week. I would definitely take them to the Bean, Navy Pier & the Lake front depending on the weather. Then we most defiantly would have to hit up Fremont on a weekend for brunch and bottomless mimosas. We would have to hit up Hyde Park and Bronzeville for the culture, somewhere like the DuSable Museum, oh and the Sears Tower of course!! I gotta put them on to Jew town Polishes and Portillo’s Italian Beef. I would love to take them to one of our many sports games and bars up in Wrigley.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Definitely my girl Naglaa, she is a dope singer & songwriter. As well as my cousin Porsha, she too is going crazy on the music side. Also my homies Vla and his brother’s Ricky & Kevin. They have a dope fashion line called All Things Good, their clothing has also been worn by Carmelo Anthony & Fabulous. Their socials are all listed down below.
