Hi Mone’, what do you attribute your success to?
The important factor of my success is keeping my faith, and continuing to grind even when the odds are against me. Also, another important factor is having a team behind me. Not a just team that’s there because they know me, or grew up with me, but people who believe in me & want me to succeed in life.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
What sets me apart from others is my work ethic. I always had a hustle in me to get what I want, and or need. Hustling while you’re in the music business goes hand and hand. You can’t expect a handout from anyone. You have to go get it on your own even if someone gave you a lil push here and there. I always put God first, praying and having faith has kept me going as well. I know I can be a great like Jay Z, LL Cool J, Nas, Missy Elliott, Timberland, etc… Having patience plays a huge factor too! If that’s not a lesson I’ve learned, then I don’t know what is. I want people to know about my story is that anyone can make it, but everyone won’t, but it’s up to you if you want to go against the odds or not!
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A good hang out spot will definitely be Prospect Park, Bombshells, St. Danes, Axelrad Beer Garden, Live Oak, Seaside, Diablos, and of course some of the clubs. The list goes on and on. Due to COVID-19 some of these establishments are still closed, but they’re really good with drinks & food.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to give a s/o to my brand Bravo Familo & the H Town Trafficking Tour. Without them guiding me & learning from them I don’t know how far I’ll be with my career.
