We had the good fortune of connecting with Monique White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Monique, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
It’s very simple, I wanted to create a show that was positive and purpose driven.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I have been blessed to start a career in media 12yrs ago shortly after reality shows came out without a broadcasting degree. I started the 1st show with my business partners in 2010 and in the beginning was a lot of learning. After 2yrs on Tv I decided to create The Our Life Tv Show on my own in 2015. From 2015-2022 I finally received the tough skin I don’t have in the beginning, learn more of the business side of media and I have been able to move the show from access cable to all streaming tv platforms as well as become a partner of the Onpoint Network over Media , along with starting the Our Life Media Clinic to help people start a successful media career the correct way. The lesson I have learn along the way, don’t be quick to sign anything and research everything for yourself. The Our Life brand is all about removing your Mask ( men & women) and embarrassing the real you.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to all the hot spots in Houston for day parties, also I would take them to museum district area.

We would definitely have to check out the best bar-q spots as well as live music.
