Meet Morgan Bayard | Dog Trainer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Morgan Bayard and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Morgan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
When I moved here to Texas I started working at a training facility. While I was there I really got to see the down side of having dogs in a kennel environment. As time went on I knew that there was more success to be had with in home training. So I left the facility and went out on my own to create a in home dog training business! Not only do I have more training success, but I have the ability to build the relationships with owners that wasn’t possible before.

What should our readers know about your business?
Morgan’s Pawsitive Pup Training is one of a kind. We combine dog training with behavior and physical health to give long lasting transformative success. My background of training all kinds of animals, learning cranial sacral thearpy, and animal health gives me a unique style. We look at the whole animal and home dynamic to bring about real change. This is another reason we believe so strongly in, in home dog training. Training success starts from the inside out!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I haven’t lived in Houston very long but am a major foodie! I would have to get a line up of coffee places and restaurants for them to try! Houston has so many places to choose from, it makes going somewhere new fun and easy. I also have really enjoyed the many parks in Houston. I go and explore new walking trails with my own dog every chance I get.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When I look back the catalyst to my dog training career started 12yrs ago when my family volunteered to be puppy raisers for Guide Dogs for the Blind. We learned how to raise a puppy to go out and be ready for any situation. This made it possible for them to learn to be guide dogs. I also have to thank my personal dog Freya. I rescued her at 8 months and she came with a lot of issues. I learned so much and found my passion in helping reactive dogs live a better life! Lastly I want to thank AbsoluteDogs. Through there amazing programs I was able to become certified dog trainer!
