We had the good fortune of connecting with Nicole Alzate and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nicole, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is God. Everything I’ve been able to accomplish has been thanks to Him, His love, His guidance, and the strength He gives me to keep going every day. He’s the one that gave me this vision to begin with and He’s been with me every step of the way— leading, providing, helping, and lifting me up in my most difficult moments. My brand is based on God’s power and love, so I truly owe it all to Him. God is the One that’s made it all happen.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Aziel Design Co. is a Christian clothing and accessories brand created to spread love, spread truth, and glorify our beautiful Creator. Our apparel is designed for people to carry a message of love, strength, truth and hope found only in God. Our goal is to serve as a reminder to you, & those around you, that we are all loved by the deepest love and strengthened by the strongest power.

What sets Aziel Design Co. apart from others is our authenticity, our unique, purpose-filled designs, the bond we form with our followers/customers, and our attention to detail. We want to serve our customers the best way we can and always pray y’all get a glimpse of God’s love and power through our shop. We want you to wear our apparel and feel God’s presence, feel empowered, and know that you are loved beyond words. Aziel will always be a space where people can be encouraged and be reminded of God’s powerful, unfailing love through everything we create.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

If I had a friend visiting Houston for a week, here’s what our week would look like:

Tuesday:
Go to Share Tea
Visit NASA
Eat at The Taste of Texas
Go roller skating

Wednesday:
Go to Yumcha
Go to the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo (If it’s rodeo season!)
Eat at Whataburger

Thursday:
Eat at MOD
Visit the Cockrell Butterfly Museum
Go to Buffalo Bayou Park
Eat at Los Perros Houston

Friday:
Spend the day at Galveston
Eat at Chik-fil-a

Saturday:
Go to Towne Lake
Eat at Ambriza
Have Colombian desserts and juices at Tropikatto
Go to the movies

Sunday:
Go to church at Hope City
Eat at First Watch
Go to MYX Blend Bar (to create our own lip glosses or lipsticks; It’s such a cool experience!)
Eat at La Madeleine

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
The first one I’d like to dedicate this shoutout to, once again, is God. I am who I am and where I am thanks to Him. I truly couldn’t do any of it without Him. I’d also like to shoutout my family for being so supportive and believing in me since the beginning. I’d like to shoutout my mom for always encouraging me to do what makes me happy and my siblings for being my #1 fans, the best models, and for always representing my brand with so much love. I’d also like to give a special shoutout to my fiancé for believing in me before I even believed in myself, for motivating me, celebrating me, and always helping me become better. He was the one that truly made me realize that I could even start a business and he’s taught me to take risks, to be brave, and to just go for it. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to have them all. They really keep me going.
