We had the good fortune of connecting with Nikki Lynch and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Nikki, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my business was a no-brainer. At the time I decided to start my business I had been laid off from my Bartending job due to COVID and starting from the ground up in the Bartending industry wasn’t an option for me nor was going to get a 9-5. I’m sitting on my couch one evening and it hits me. Start teaching others how to grow their Mobile Bar Business and I hit the ground running. I basically created a business based on my job experience.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Branding Bartenders is a Consulting agency for Mobile Bartenders. After starting my own Mobile Bartending company and receiving absolutely NO help. I learned everything through trial and error and that wasn’t easy because you take so many financial losses.
It has been a long road getting to place I’m at now and I still have a ways to go.
I pride myself on being unique because you’re not going to find many people doing what I do especially for a specific group of people.
Starting and maintaining a business is HARD! You come up against naysayers, no help, finding money to invest back into your business, finding great help and not going in insane.
I’ve grown my business by always being prepared, being prayed up and believing in my abilities.
My business is growing everyday and that makes me proud. Branding Bartenders stands out because we’re your same ole membership/community. We are very hands on, helping Mobile Bartenders grow their businesses on a solid foundation. To anyone looking to start a business, go for it but please know that will have to put the work in on a daily basis.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
That’s going to be hard, since I just moved to Texas 3 months ago.
We’d definitely start downtown.
We’d have oysters at Standard Service in Deep Ellum and walk around to explore.
We’d then venture into Fort Worth to eat at Doc B’s then tour the Stockyards.
The next few days would be random because we’re both new to the city.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
All the Mobile Bartenders who support me
