We had the good fortune of connecting with Ola Aljubouri and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Ola, we’d love for you to start things off by telling us something about your industry that we and others not in the industry might be unaware of?
One thing about being a hijabi that outsiders might not realize is how much intentionality goes into showing that modest dressing can be both beautiful and fashionable. A lot of people think modesty means sacrificing style, but I want to challenge that perception by showcasing how put-together and elegant modest outfits can be.
For me, it’s about redefining what people associate with modesty—not as limiting, but as empowering. I hope to make it more comfortable for others, especially young women, to see modest dressing as a confident, stylish, and modern choice.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I work as a QA engineer, which has been both a rewarding and challenging experience, especially as a woman in a male-dominated field. Navigating this space hasn’t always been easy, but it’s taught me resilience, confidence, and the importance of standing firm in my abilities.
At the same time, I have my Instagram account, which serves as a creative outlet where I can express my feminine side. It allows me to celebrate the part of me that loves beauty, fashion, and storytelling—complementing my analytical and structured role as a QA engineer.
I’m proud of how I’ve embraced both parts of my identity and created a balance that feels authentic to who I am. I hope to inspire others, especially women, to feel confident in pursuing careers that challenge them while still embracing the creative and personal sides of themselves. My story is about blending the technical with the creative and proving that you don’t have to fit into just one box to succeed.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to dedicate my shoutout to my husband, who has been my biggest supporter and motivator. So much of my confidence and success stems from his unwavering belief in me. He’s always encouraged me to stand up for myself, advocate for what I believe in, and strive to reach my full potential. Whether it’s a big leap in my career or small, everyday moments, he’s been my rock and has consistently pushed me to do better while reminding me of my worth. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his love and encouragement.
