We had the good fortune of connecting with Orchestrate96 and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Orchestrate96, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
I see risk-taking as an essential part of growth. Risks force you out of your comfort zone. In doing so, you advance life’s experiences. These experiences can be good, bad, predictable, or unexpected. In any case, like Richard Taverner’s adage, “experience is the best teacher.” Whether it be small risks, like telling a woman you love her for the first time, hoping the feeling is mutual, or greater risks like starting a business, we can’t give up on dreams without a fight. The journey of becoming a renowned artist is the dream. It is full of uncertainty but, that’s the risk I’m willing to take. The goal is, not to lose myself in the process.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I started music by accident. It was during a rough patch in my studies. I do it because I want my music to be a “place” listeners run to when they want a reliable source to get excited or forget about worries. Songs they can dance to. Staple songs on my discography like POUR ICE or FISH TANK are upbeat tracks you bop to. Music has always been an escape for me and millions of people. I want my music to keep it that way. People around the world can vibe because music is universal. Music has taught me that some things take time. Getting good at making music and growing a fan base takes time and trial & error. But, it’s all worth it. To build a community of people that collectively enjoy music and just vibe. The feeling cannot be topped. My next single with one of Houston’s top artists, OMB Bloodbath, will definitely take the country by surprise. I cannot wait to put it out to my listeners.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big Shoutout to the city of Houston, the fan, friends, supporters, and the entire crew. The fans, listeners, and supporters of my sound help keep the dream alive. Their love and support is incredible and unconditional. Will never take it for granted. I would love to thank my family and friends. My parents, Big Bro (DJ Sizeh), Chad G., Franck N., DJ Trill, Kingsley A., Michael W., Wisdom, friends from Nigeria, and a host of others. My Crew! They do wonders. Kay from TheBeautyofPr, Big Kang my Executive Producer and Audio Engineer, Barron Studios and Barron Collective, Philip E., Michael Winland, Tristan Seyedain, Pierre, and Emmanuel my Photographers. And all the producers that helped make my debut album Young & Naive possible
