Meet Pamela Correa | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamela Correa and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pamela, how do you think about risk?
There are always going to be risks in anything you do; it’s always been a matter of wether you decide to take that risk or not. In my case, when opening my business, I took a lot of risk opening a business in a country which spoke a different language than mine and investing into a community I had just moved into. Starting my business in these conditions helped me wake up and start learning about how people communicate and about different cultures.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
My business Kingdom & Wheels opened in 2016, we built a great relationship with our community and participated in all the events and you probably saw my face couple of times, we put a lot of smiles on every birthday party that we celebrate, also we celebrate special occasions. We were the favorite Sports recreation in 2018, working with kids is the best thing I ever did and I learned a lot. People used to ask me on how I can survive in a place that has constant screams, and I always say that if you really love what your are doing you can survive anywhere. There were a LOT of challenges and I would not have had it any other way because thanks for all those hard days i learn a lot, I met thousands of people and that was the best thing of all, some of them are now close friends. Due to Covid19 we close the business and im now creating a page on instagram to interview amazing people that i have met during this great experience. Follow me to know more about it at @pams_posts.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would love to take them to do some outdoor activities as I am a very active person like Memorial park, discovery green. Also I love to have breakfast at Le Peep coffee and pancakes are the best there. We can visit the nasa facility, kemah boardwalk, galveston boardwalk or take them to a rockets or texans game of course. To a concert at the toyota center or Smart Financial Centre. We are so blessed to have friends that are family and we spend our weekends cooking and creating memories with our families. We love to watch movies at Cinema star grill, my favorite restaurants are : Taste of Texas, Pappadeux, Cheesecake factory, Fish City Grill at la centerra, Snooze, The Rouxpour, Perry’s and of course is a tradition always to visit our fiend Antonio at his restaurant Antonio’s Flying Pizza. We love to sing so we do karaoke nights, play boardgames and really spend time with our friends talking about our lives.

I would like to thank all my Katy Tx Community for supporting me during my journey, thanks for letting me be part of so many special celebrations at Kingdom & Wheels. And of course to all my Family for pushing me everyday especially my Husband and kids for all your love. To my Father who put his trust in me and even though he isn’t here, he always to do my best.
