We had the good fortune of connecting with Pamela Mburo and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Pamela, how do you think about risk?
I am a firm believer in Risk-taking. I think Risks are needed to elevate to the next level.
Taking Risks in My career has anabled me to advance my skills, get out of my comfort Zone, and perfect my Craft.
Generally my lifespan, career and work ethics wouldn’t be where it is today; if I didn’t take the necessary risks along the way.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I am a creative Writer, I Self-published two books and also published an ebook last year.
I am an enigmatic soul, weaving words and thoughts into captivating tales. With a creative spirit that knows no bounds, I traverse the realms of imagination, seeking to touch hearts and stir minds. My pen dances upon the page, breathing life into characters, landscapes, and emotions.
I am most proud of designing, writing and publish my books and ebook.

I used to freestyle write for fun. While back in high school. One day as a homework assignment, we did a poetry challenge assignment that I ended up winning. From there I started working on my first manuscript which was published in 2017. https://www.amazon.com/dp/
In order to perfect my craft, I joined a platform for writers called vocal media. We have monthly writing challenges that I partake in to perfect my craft. https://vocal.media/authors/
At first it was challenging to dwell into different genre’s; primarily because I was comfortable telling stories about my life experiences and poetry occasionally.
But with time I learned to break out of my comfort Zone and tap into each genre of writing throughout the years on vocal platform. The platform has allowed me to evolve professionally and effectively.
I would love the world to know that I am a tree with many branches, each branch is uniquely different yet similar. I am not afraid of taking chances nor putting my eggs in one basket. Breaking out of your comfort zone is not necessarily a bad thing or bad anecdote people imagine it to be. The fear of the unknown is sometimes your limitations from success.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If my best friend was visiting the area, we would start off by having brunch at juliet restaurant. Best food ever, and the Ambience is to die for.
Since we are already in the Galleria area; I would take them sightseeing, shop at the mall , then catch a movie at rooftop cinema.
Later that evening, we would freshen up then hit up heights NightLife.
Next day breakfast will be at IHOP, my all time favorite breakfast diner.
Afterwards we would be sightseeing at city center in Sugarland and memorial.
With occasional cocktail drinks along the city center Squares.
The day Afterwards would be a trip to Houston Museum. Lunch at Creole kitchen and daiquiri, then a walk at Herrmann Park, Discovery Green, and Gerald D Hines Waterwall Park
Last couple of days would be a trip to our local farmers market then eat at pour behavior in downtown. The place turns into a night club after hours so you will be sure to have a great time.
Lastly, The Ivy House. Lots of backdrop picture props, great food, Ambience, and drinks/bar. Not forgetting, the beautiful water waves in bolivar peninsula; Chrystal Beach.
We can ultimately catch the nutcracker if time permits, and cameroll is not already full of memories. Otherwise, the goal is to embrace each scenery and savor the dynamic Houston flavors.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Family and Relatives have been very supportive with my multitasking attributes. They equally give me strategic feedback, mentorship, and encouragement when things gets tough.
Sister’s Milly and Betty have been a vital key in keeping me consistent with my Creative Writing and Entrepreneurship Journey.
Brother Erick, Niece Nia, and Cousin Jeff are my number one support system when it comes to promoting my skills and Craft.
They give me the motivation to keep breaking barriers in unfamiliar territories.
