Hi Paris, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
I feel the habit of being my true authentic self has helped me succeed is my industry. My Rich Girls love that I’m very relatable and transparent, that attracts my community. Allowing them to be a part of my journey lets them see entrepreneurship is just that, a journey.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Rich Girl Formula is literally my business baby that is growing up so fast. Just like all entrepreneurial journeys it will always be a bumpy ride as mine has been. During those moments when business would not go as planned or things got harder than expected I always embraced my “why”. Knowing why you started your business, or the mindset you were in when you came up with the idea to start will get you back on track. I understood what I was signing up for starting a business so I knew it would not be easy, but I also knew I wanted more. I got to where I am today by sticking to the plan, accepting that the steps may change along the way, but the overall plan is the same. Investing in my brand was one of the greatest assets to overcoming challenges. I skipped this step in the beginning feeling like I can do it myself. However, I learned this lesson later in my business and it almost felt like I was starting over from scratch. Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Having friends visit is so fun because the city has so much to offer! We would def have to stop and grab food at The Breakfast Klub or brunch at Five Central. Thirteen and Bar 5015 will provide the perfect nightlife for anyone looking for amazing vibes and cute cocktails. A day at “The Museum For Black Girls” is a great place for the perfect selfie and of course they can’t leave Houston without taking a ride on the Ferris Wheel at the Downtown Aquarium!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would love to dedicate my shoutout to my mother who actually is the reason I wrote my Rich Girl Formula book. My mother has always encouraged me to follow every crazy idea I thought of no matter how big it was. Having the support to feel like I can accomplish anything I put my mind to has kept me going even after her passing. Luv you Ma!
