Meet Patrice Young | Pet sitter and Groomer, ambassador of women cosplay group

We had the good fortune of connecting with Patrice Young and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patrice, what makes you happy? Why?
My name is Patrice and I am a extreme animal lover. I love to dedicate my lives to pet parents who are willing to go out of their to make their pets apart of their family. I am a groomer and pet sitter therefore I love to see the pet owners happy. I love to see other people and customers happy. I have over 10 years of pet professional experience such as a veterinary assistant, technician, surgery technician, pet sitter and a groomer. during my experience i worked in a animal shelter for almost 5 years and during this time I’ve gained so much passion for caring for animals. I love to see any animal that trust me. I love to gain bonds with animals. Working with animals is one thing but it is so soo much more than just a paycheck. I love helping animals finding forever homes and i love benefiting pet parents. At times I do go to the shelter to volunteer groom to those pets in need. I love sharing my love and care to pets and their parents.

I also love to make others happy at social events. I am apart of a cosplay group and I love to shower my love for gaming and anime to others who embraces this. I love to make introverts and extroverts all be accepted under one roof.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business is name Doggone Pets. I first started my business as a pet sitting providing dog walking and boarding from my home. I then attending grooming school where I fell in love with grooming as well. I love to make sure that all pets receive TLC. At times I understand pets may be depressed or stress when their owner is away and this is where i come in. My business involves grooming, pet boarding and pet sitting. At the time I am very limited to pet boarding and sitting such as daycare, check in services and dog walks. Nothing in life is easy, but i do always believe if something is difficult then it is definitely worth fighting for. And I will fight to make other people and pets happy every day if i have to.
I believe i would be different from others because i have the knowledge and passion to care for pets. If any emergency cases happen then your pets are in good hands always! I always make sure to not have so many pets under one roof and to remain calm. Pets can feed off of your energy big time and the environment that they are surrounding their selves in always matter as apart of their mental health. Pets always have a hard time when their owner is away therefore this is why I want to make sure pets are in a stress free environment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would love to take my friends to a karaoke spot. I love being in a surrounding where others are looking to have a good time. The group/organization that i am ambassador of is Gamababes. we are also affiliation with Gamabar. Gamabar is a anime/video game pop up bar currently. Gamabar is local and their are currently always on the move. I would highly recommend following this business. At every event they have you can expect to eat drink, play video games, surround your selves with good vides and enjoy anime.
