Hi PHILIP, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?

As an entrepreneur, my thought process behind starting my own business, Afrovibes TV and Radio Station, as well as Afrovibes Coffee and Technology Sure (an IT company), stemmed from a combination of passion, market opportunity, and a desire for personal growth.

First and foremost, I have always had a deep passion for media and technology. I recognized that there was a gap in the market for a vibrant and engaging platform that catered specifically to the African diaspora, showcasing their culture, music, and stories. I wanted to create a space where people could connect, be inspired, and celebrate their heritage. This passion fueled my determination to establish Afrovibes TV and Radio Station.

Additionally, I saw a significant opportunity in the IT industry. With the increasing reliance on technology and digital solutions, there was a growing demand for reliable IT services. Technology-Sure was born out of the desire to provide top-notch IT solutions to small businesses. I wanted to offer comprehensive IT support, including network management, cybersecurity, software development, and cloud services, ensuring that our clients had a reliable and secure technology infrastructure.

The idea of being my own boss and having the autonomy to make decisions that align with my vision was also a driving force behind starting these businesses. I wanted to create something that reflected my values and allowed me to make a positive impact in the community. The prospect of building something from the ground up, overcoming challenges, and witnessing the growth and success of my ventures was incredibly enticing.

Financial potential was another consideration. While I understood that starting a business comes with risks, I saw the potential for both Afrovibes TV and Radio Station and Technology-Sure to not only generate income but also create opportunities for expansion and diversification in the future.

Ultimately, I viewed starting these businesses as a chance for personal growth and fulfillment. The journey of entrepreneurship presents numerous learning opportunities, from honing leadership skills to navigating the complexities of running a business. I was excited about the prospect of constantly learning, adapting, and pushing myself to new heights.
