Hi Prissy, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was a culmination of several factors and a deeply personal journey for me. Firstly, I’ve always had a passion for fashion and a keen eye for styling. I found immense joy in helping friends and family find outfits that made them feel confident and empowered. This sparked the idea of turning my passion into a profession.

I wanted the freedom to express my creativity and build something meaningful that aligned with my values. Working in the fashion industry allowed me to do just that, but I often felt constrained by corporate structures and limitations. Starting my own business provided me with the outlet to create my own vision and shape the direction of my career.

I saw a gap in the market for personalized styling services that were accessible and affordable. Many women struggled with finding clothes that made them feel good about themselves, and I wanted to change that. By launching my own business, I could offer tailored styling solutions that catered to individual preferences and budgets.

Ultimately, my thought process behind starting my own business was fueled by a desire to pursue my passion, create something meaningful, and make a positive impact on the lives of others. It was a leap of faith, but one that I knew was worth taking in order to turn my dreams into reality.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’m incredibly passionate about my art, and what sets me apart is my unique blend of creativity, authenticity, and attention to detail. I specialize in curating simply chic styles and I take pride in infusing each piece with my own personal flair and perspective.

One thing I’m particularly proud of is growing my brand to over 125K supporters. It was a challenging yet rewarding experience that allowed me to push my creative boundaries and showcase my skills on a larger platform.

My journey to where I am today professionally has been anything but easy. Like many stylists, I faced numerous obstacles and setbacks along the way. However, I firmly believe that every challenge presents an opportunity for growth and learning.

I overcame these challenges by staying resilient, staying true to my vision, and never losing sight of my passion for creating art. Surrounding myself with a supportive network of friends, family, and fellow stylists also played a crucial role in keeping me motivated and inspired during tough times.

Some of the most important lessons I’ve learned along the way include the importance of perseverance, patience, and adaptability. Building a successful career as a personal stylist requires dedication, hard work, and the willingness to embrace change and evolve with the industry.

As for what I want the world to know about me and my brand, it’s simple: I pour my heart and soul into every piece of art I create, and I’m committed to sharing my passion with others. Whether it’s through my styles or my story, I hope to inspire and uplift others to pursue their own creative passions and never give up on their dreams.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If one of my friend girls was visiting for a week, I would want to show them the best of what the area has to offer. Throughout the week, I would make sure to incorporate a mix of dining experiences, cultural activities, outdoor adventures, and relaxation to ensure a well-rounded and unforgettable trip for my friend.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Absolutely, there are several individuals and resources that have played a significant role in shaping my journey and deserve recognition.

First and foremost, I’d like to dedicate a shoutout to my family and friends who have been my biggest supporters and cheerleaders from the very beginning. Their unwavering belief in me, encouragement, and constant words of encouragement have been invaluable throughout this entrepreneurial journey.

I’d like to acknowledge the amazing community of fellow entrepreneurs and creatives who have inspired and motivated me through their stories, successes, and shared experiences. Their support and camaraderie have been a source of strength and inspiration, especially during challenging times.
