We had the good fortune of connecting with Rabon Raulerson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rabon, what do you attribute your success to?
I think a lot of the time, people base there decision to pursue something new solely off of there first impressions.

I do agree with that, but only to a certain extent.

I feel that yes, having the beautiful facility and having the budget to provide top brands gives your spectators or the parent in search of a youth sports program the upper hand.

But I have found through the years, there is not a Nike jersey, there is not a trophy and not even the best coaches who win all the games, that is going to keep parents coming back season in and season out.

There are three major WORDS you must live and breath for success when it comes to parents and there kids.

Those words are… (LISTEN-LEARN-LOVE).

If you listen to people, you will be able to hear what the PEOPLE want and what they need.

If you learn from people, they feel important and are more likely to trust your decisions and leadership, which in return creates loyalty.

And when these two major factors combine together and are staples of each other, you will find that people,
will start LOVING what they have invested there time and money into.

Creating an unforgettable experience may sound generic and cheesy, but it cannot be done if you Do NOT…
LISTEN, SO YOU CAN LEARN, SO YOU CAN LOVE.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I am not the best at talking about my life, talking about my struggles or taking any advice from friends or family that i didn’t ask for.

I’ve always lived by the… “My burdens are mine to bear”

I found that, writing music and producing my music has been the window to my soul that, if anyone at anytime wanted to know what I was going through or how I was really doing, you could find it on my platforms I am an artist on.

My main platform is, Sound Cloud under “Cecil Cavalier”

There you can find my songs and you can here all the stuff I have struggled to talk about, in general conversation.

Music for me comes from, inspiration through my experiences with others.

Id say the number one thing that sets me apart from others, is that I truly believe that I am kind and no matter what, I will treat others, the way I would want to be treated.

I believe that the position in which I am in, is a result of the (WANT TO HAVE IT)

If you do not WANT something bad enough, you will not GET IT simple as that.

And nothing worth fighting for comes easy.

But by ensuring you are doing all of the rite things, in your pursuit of what you want, there isn’t a whole bunch that is going to go wrong if you are kind and are doing all the rite things.

The biggest lesson I have learned on this journey, is building relationships through a solid infrastructure, to hold anyone and everyone accountable for there actions which creates an element of control.

If I had something I would like people to know or to here… It would be.

“BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO SUCK AT SOMETHING NEW”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would rent a beach house on crystal beach, that is only accessible with the assistance of a ferry.

That is important to note because I like the fact that you have no choice but to stay if the outside world needs you, also there is hardly any cell service so way less distractions.

We would go get some bait so we can do some shark fishing and have all the firewood to ensure at night we can just fellowship and cook our own meals.

One of the nights we would go to the local pub and have a pretzel bun double stack bacon burger with some curly fries and cheese!

We would hit the docks and piers, and catch blue crab and cook those baby’s out on the beach by our fire!
And oh… a couple nights hit the local putt putt course.

I love being by the beach, I grew up in South Florida… So when I get a chance to take a week long trip, Im most likely going to be at the beach with a fire burning and some good good folks!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First and foremost all the praise and glory goes to GOD!

I couldn’t do what is needed, to run this program or manage my own life, without the faith and grace of God.

When you Love God and Serve All, it makes everything so much easier.

One of the biggest impacts a book has ever impressed on me, is a book called “atomic habits” by James Clear.

It breaks down that life isn’t one big change, that you have to make, all at one time.

But that life and habits and change, could come by something as small as an atom if you give two percent every day rather than try to fix everything all at once,

Unfortunately when we try to fix everything all at once, you are more prone to failure, which manifest stress and anxiety which
turns into being unsure of yourself which causes bad decisions.
