We had the good fortune of connecting with Randi Poullard and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Randi, what’s your definition for success?
Success to me is knowing your vision and chipping away at it everyday. Some days are very impactful, and other days there may be obstacles that challenge me on my journey. I choose everyday to have a positive impact on the human experience. That may be uplifting a family member or connecting to my students before, during and after teaching. Helping others connect to their best self, and challenging them to think with a different perspective that they may have not thought of before.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
The discipline I am most passionate about is teaching yoga. I also dabble with teaching cycle, which is a lot of fun! Over the last few years I have been so happy to manage the yoga boutique at Lifetime City Centre. Connecting with people is my purpose, and I have the platform to do that in a multitude of ways. I am excited for the next steps of my journey. Since March, my life- just like everyone else- took a major pivot. I went from building a team for Lifetime Greenstreet to becoming a full time digital learning mom. Just like personal life- professional life has really amazing highs, and tough times. Staying connected to my why has always helped me navigate the harder times in my professional journey. If you are a fitness professional and are looking for a home, let’s connect! Lifetime Greenstreet will be opening 2021 and I am looking to create an amazing team with love and wonderful energy.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I am so grateful for my support system. My partner Brandon has been essential in both my personal and professional growth. We have conquered and continue to maneuver through all of life’s challenges together. My kids Jack and Max breathe life into my soul! They keep me on my toes, and bring excitement into my world. My parents and siblings have nourished my growth and have shown me what it truly means to love. My lululemon City Centre family has highlighted my passion in the professional sense. They have helped me get a more clear vision with where I want to be professionally, and how I can have a deep love for what I do. They have given me wings on how I can impact my community. Thank you for giving me a platform to stand on AND the megaphone to amplify my voice. A book that has changed how I effectively communicate is Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life by Marshall B Rosenberg. I have to thank Ash Agnite for introducing this book to me. And finally all my students that show up for them and allow me to be unapologetically me when I guide them in their wellness journey…THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU!
