We had the good fortune of connecting with Rashamir Sims and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rashamir, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The Covid-19 pandemic. Like most people I enjoyed going to movie theater. However, when the pandemic occurred that made it very limited to do. So I decided why not bring the movie theater experience to your home. Whether its a movie night with family or if you simply want to host an event ElevatedSims Entertainment is it!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
It may sound like a cliché but I got to where I am today through hard work, perseverance, and an amazing support system. Even with that and help it wasn’t easy. My family instilled a mindset in me that f it was easy everyone would do it. However, my vision and belief on creating ElevatedSims Entertainment never wavered. ElevatedSims Entertainment offers projector screen rental services using a 20ft inflatable movie screen. We provide quality sound & movie projection rental equipment for indoor & outdoor events. We don’t just offer movies. We showcase sports as well! From fight night to Monday night football. Our goal is to entertain you!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
There are so many things to do in Houston. We have in my opinion some of the best food and vibes in the country. Places to eat Turkey Leg Hut, The Warwick, Union Kitchen (Brunch). Vibes Social House, Prospect, Grooves, The Address, and Kamp. Places to hang out Elenor Tinsley Park. You may ask why a park? However ElevatedSims Entertainment has movie nights at the park for the community.
