We had the good fortune of connecting with Rebecca Harris and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rebecca, what’s the most important lesson your business/career has taught you?
Hard work and discipline pay off. I have learned over the 10 years that we have been in business that getting up every day and reaching outside of your comfort zone will get you far.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Stainbusters is woman-owned and operated carpet cleaning service provider. I believe our experience and dedication to our customers is what sets us apart from others. I have learned that treating my customers as how I would want a company to work with me really makes a difference in the in how your customers think of you. I am most proud of the recognition our company receives with our community. People know about us because our reputation in this this industry and community is one of kind. We are responsive, helpful and active in our community. We are family operated and provide both commercial and residential steam cleaning services for carpets, upholstery and natural stone & tile. We specialize in removing those really hard and unsightly stains and have over 25 years of experience with all sorts of them. Our knowledge and service in the industry is unmatched.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I love our town. When I have company visit, I love to show them the greatness our community offers. I personally love the little shops that are slightly outside of the city as I am true country gal. I would take them to a little place in Willis called Blue Willow coffee shop where we can order a delicious Daisy latte and pick-up a yummy bakery treat from Scratch by Sarah. At some point we would visit Old Town springs to shop and grab a bite to eat. I love the vibe there with the different clothing shops or a shop to buy a pretty crystals and plants. At some point we would also have to visit Tony’s Italian Delicatessen. If the weather is warm and nice Margaritaville would definitely be on our list of places to visit too. I also love our farmers markets; we have several all-around town so we would likely drive around for a Saturday to visit several like the Farmers Market on Tamina or GoodGrass farmers market and the Huntsville Farmers Market are all excellent and would be a day’s worth of fun driving around towns.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
All of my small business’ friends deserve a shout out! I have a long list that I could write. From WGNO to Woodlands Mom Group and other local groups I have met so many amazing people and inspiring business owners. My family also in particular is always so supporting and encouraging on keeping up the dedication.
