We had the good fortune of connecting with Romeo El Chaer and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Romeo, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Risk-taking has been a fundamental part of my life, shaped by both personal experiences and professional aspirations. Growing up in a turbulent country, I was accustomed to navigating uncertainty and making daily choices that involved calculated risks. This early exposure fostered a resilience and adaptability that have served me well throughout my career.

In my professional journey, risk-taking has been a driving force. I’ve learned that innovation and progress often require stepping outside of one’s comfort zone. By embracing calculated risks, I’ve had the opportunity to pursue ambitious projects, explore new avenues, and ultimately achieve greater success. While not every risk has paid off, the lessons learned from these experiences have been invaluable.

I believe that risk-taking is essential for personal and professional growth. It challenges us to push our boundaries, develop new skills, and build resilience.
By taking calculated risks, we can increase our chances of achieving our goals and making a meaningful impact.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
“Easy” has never been part of my vocabulary. However, I can confidently say that I’ve received immense support from God. As a Christian from Lebanon, I wouldn’t be where I am today without His love, support, and kindness. This is the first thing I want to acknowledge and express my gratitude for.

I’m a clarity coach, helping people move forward in their lives by providing clarity around their decisions and challenges. Whether it’s relationships, career changes, or strengthening their connection with God, I assist them in finding purpose and direction. My approach is tailored to each client’s specific needs, guiding them towards a more fulfilling life.

I’ve worked with many clients who felt lost, despite their wealth, education, and career success. Some were struggling to understand their purpose or deepen their relationship with God.

My own journey began with a decision my mother made when I was in the womb. Despite facing pressure to terminate the pregnancy, her deep Christian faith led her to choose life. She believed that God would provide for her large family, and today, I’m living proof of that belief.

I help people find meaning and solutions in their lives, often leading them to breakthrough moments. I believe that faith in God, humanity, and oneself is essential. This isn’t just a belief based on books; it’s rooted in my own life experience.

In my darkest moments, God gave me hope for the future. Despite a childhood accident that resulted in the loss of my right eye, my connection with Him helped me see the hope He was constantly providing. This hope saved me from dangerous thoughts that could have led to a tragic end.

It also led me to believe in the kindness of others. Despite my physical differences, I’ve encountered amazing people worldwide who have supported, encouraged, and helped me. This taught me the importance of social support. Whether you’re an extrovert or an introvert, socializing can be beneficial. Be bold, don’t be afraid, and be yourself.

Finally, believe in yourself. When you recognize your worth, uniqueness, and potential, you’ll become unstoppable. You’ll bring vitality to your life, shine, and thrive.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend is visiting Houston, he would hit the jackpot!

This city boasts some of the most diverse food cultures in the US. As a Lebanese native, I highly recommend Fadi’s Cuisine (https://fadiscuisine.com/). Their menu features authentic Lebanese recipes created by Chef Fadi and his mother – a true tastebud adventure!
I also highly recommend visiting Mary’s restaurant – https://maryzmediterranean.com/, which offers another fantastic selection of authentic Lebanese cuisine and hookah for those who enjoy it. It’s one of my personal favorites.

But Houston offers more than just amazing food! You absolutely have to try Whataburger, a Texan staple that specializes in delicious and juicy hamburgers. It’s a must-have experience!

For some cultural immersion, the Houston Museum of Natural Science is a fantastic choice. This world-class museum has something for everyone, with exhibits on dinosaurs, ancient Egypt, and interactive science displays. It’s a place you could visit year after year and still discover something new.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to give a shoutout to the Score Mentoring Program (https://www.score.org). They’re doing a fantastic job! I was introduced to them when I lived in Maine, and they continued to be a great support system for me and my business after I moved to Houston. I’m incredibly grateful to their mentors, some of whom have become close friends. I highly recommend them to startup businesses and entrepreneurs – they’ll help you in so many ways!

Additionally, I want to recognize the National Speakers Association – Houston Chapter (https://NSAHouston.org). They’re an amazing organization, and I’ve been a member for a while now. I’m truly thankful for their support in developing my speaking career.
