Hi SALICIA, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor that I would say is behind the success of my brand is firstly Faith & Perseverance. My faith plays the biggest role. I live by the Bible verse “faith without works is dead” that’s where Perseverance comes in as well.

Giving up or giving in is not an option. This is why I believe I’ve had success.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At heart I’m an artist & I’m sensitive about my… Just kidding lol, I definitely consider myself an artist and a lover of all things Beauty. My staff also Identifies as “Face It Artists”. I have always loved Cosmetology. I new as a child that I wanted to own my own salon. I would do my cousins & friends hair even when I had no clue, I would still use the as guinea pigs. At one point in my life I had a close relative who suggested I give up Cosmetology and go into nursing;

considering I would always have work. Long story short, I went to Nursing School got accepted into the program and I was miserable! So I came back to my first love now I own a Cosmetology School.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First I couldn’t have done anything without God. My husband & my children are my biggest supporters. Whenever I come up with new ideas or ventures they adjust their time and schedules without complaint. They encourage me, and give me purpose. I’m 100% grateful for them.
