Meet Samra Jafarli | Samra Jafarli | Creative Entrepreneur & UGC Content Creator

We had the good fortune of connecting with Samra Jafarli and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Samra, where are your from? We’d love to hear about how your background has played a role in who you are today?
I’m originally from Azerbaijan, and now I live in the United States. I come from a very creative family — my dad is an actor, my mom is a music teacher, and my grandfather was a writer. Growing up in such an artistic environment inspired me to value creativity and self-expression from an early age. This background, combined with the opportunities I found in the U.S., has shaped me into a passionate and determined person who loves sharing stories and inspiring others.

My art is about showing real life in a beautiful and simple way. I create videos and photos for brands, mostly about home and beauty. I try to make everything feel natural and honest.
It wasn’t easy at first — I had to learn everything by myself, and English was a challenge too. But I didn’t give up. I kept going and got better step by step.
I’m proud that I started from zero and now work with different brands. I want people to know: you don’t have to be perfect — just start, and believe in yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend visited me in Houston, I’d start with coffee at Common Bond and a walk in Hermann Park. We’d check out the Museum of Fine Arts and grab lunch at Lupe Tortilla or BB Italia.
Evenings would be for rooftop views at Z on 23 or exploring the Heights with cute shops and murals. We’d spend a day at Galveston beach and visit some local markets and thrift stores.
It would be a mix of good food, art, nature, and fun vibes — everything I love about Houston!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Big shoutout to my creative family-who inspired me every day. Also, huge thanks to my husband Elkin for his constant support. And finally, to the amazing community of creators who motivate and teach me.
