Meet Shana Thompson | Business Consultant and Life Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Shana Thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Growing up I was someone that was confused on what I wanted to do because anything I tried I was exceptionally good at it. But I found that the undeniable passion didn’t surface yet. My father, one of my biggest motivators in life is an entrepreneur and growing up I’d spend all my time learning about entrepreneurship through his journey. That coupled with my burning passion to help others pushed me to start my own business. I started noticing I had so much advice to give to friends and family and that they received it well.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
“Tiomanta” means devoted, and that’s what sets our business apart from others. I believe business starts with our personal habits, beliefs, and mindset. Whatever we do in our personal lives will carryover into how we operate within our business. I believe the answer is within each and everyone of my clients they just need the support and guidance to be their best self. I’m excited to continue to make an impact on individuals, so that they can attain their goals in personal life and entrepreneurship.

Anything worth having or keeping will always come with challenges. I’ve learned to just be my authentic self and to continue to shape my mindset. When starting out we depend on our friends, family, or peers to patronize our business. But it’s important to understand who your target audience is and learn everything about them so that you can appeal to them.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This one is a tough question to answer because Houston is so rich in culture and so many things to do. I’m still new to the area and have a lot to explore. But some honorable mentions so far would be:

And large portions of food for the price

Jamaica Jamaica Ultra Lounge
For those into Caribbean music nice vibes

The Houston zoo

There’s also an uptown and a downtown with a lot of restaurants and lounges.

Downtown also has an underground hotel , shopping, etc.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I owe everything that I am to God. He has never left me not even when I felt it was my darkest days. He has also blessed me with the most wonderful , supportive, and beautiful souls I am lucky enough to call my parents Clive and Beverly Bailey. They have taught me so much about love, family, and life.

To my Husband thank you for your jovial kind spirit. You have never judge me and have helped me grow over the years.

And finally to my two sons , I look into your eyes and know I have so much impact to make on the earth. You both are my driving factors when I feel as though I am frustrated or ready to give up.
