We had the good fortune of connecting with Shehzad Hoosein and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Shehzad, can you tell us a bit about why you love what you do?
I believe love & care have always been great partners. Caring for others is a great way to physically & mentally assist ourselves in everyday life. Like a pyramid, one person connects to another & knowing that The Magic Joint is continuously helping people smile by naturally relieving their joint / muscle pains, adds a level confidence to boost the team’s motivation! When someone excited approaches you with a smile & says, “I can’t believe I’m walking without pain after so many years” or “my arthritis pain is gone thanks to you,” there is no better feeling than that. I say it in every interview, without a doubt, that it’s the most-loving part of all!

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Formulated in the late 19th century, The Magic Joint ASSURES ALL-NATURAL & INSTANT PAIN RELIEF UPON APPLICATION as it is derived from many organic roots & extracted oils that are processed multiple times through temperature-controlled procedures. All of these formulas, ideas, & challenges to assure pain-relief over 100 years ago are the efforts of Dr. Bapo, & his son, Dr. Hoosein from South Asia. Dr. Bapo dedicated most of his life to the study of natural medicine as he was diagnosed with Tuberculosis in his mid-20’s. He lived until the age of 96 while his son, Dr. Hoosein, passed in 2006, at age 106. They both averaged a life of over 100 years as they naturally assisted everyone in the community for over 70 years. They had many organic formulas but one of the most effective was their applicable pain-relief oil, The Magic Joint. It doesn’t only relieve pain instantly, but also provides many Essential Vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, C, E, K), & Beneficial Skin Nutrients (Omega-3, Omega-9) while assuring no side effects such as burns or odors. Bringing The Magic Joint into the market was definitely not as big of a challenge for us with today’s technology, as it was for them to invent the formula in the earlier days. There were many unexpected challenges that we came across such as the long journey of internationally understanding the product and it’s various sampling stages that were quite costly. Because it is medically related, there were many speed bumps that consisted of legalities while creating the prototype, but the previous efforts of Dr. Bapo & Dr. Hoosein kept The Magic Joint Team motivated & the strength of this product assured our confidence.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
When I visit a city, the food is very important for me to taste as it gives me a sense of the people’s nature, what they enjoy eating, & the city’s background. As a proud resident of Houston, Texas for over 30 years, I can proudly assure that this beautiful & spacious city offers maximum diversity for everyone. Whether you’re from California or China, the city of Houston will always make you feel close to home. There are about 150 languages are spoken in the city & no matter where you are, you will never feel left out, or socially disconnected. From food trucks to cultural eats to healthy choices, Houston dining has it all. This is probably why Houstonians eat out more than anyone else in the country. There are many favorites as people from all over the World bring their traditional background into their restaurant / kitchen. On Bellaire Blvd, where Chinatown is located, you will find the most authentic asian foods that anyone can offer. On Hillcroft St, where many Pakistani & Indian retail stores / restaurants are located, you can enjoy true & tasty flavors like you would in the two countries. Whether it’s fast food / dine-in, healthy / unhealthy, cheap / expensive, sweet / spicy, or raw / cooked, Houston has it!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Our lives consist of various everyday experiences, that add on to previous experiences, thus making us who we are today. In my life, I have come across many individuals that have taught me well. I respectively thank every one of them but my most important & affective mentor that gave me a vision throughout life has always been my admired father, Mohamed Amin Hoosein. Until this day, I cannot recall a single moment in my life, that he was occupied with something more important, than raising his 4 sons in the best possible way. My mother assisted his efforts, his support, his love, his encouragement, & his mentorship that came together to pave the bright milestone of his family today. As a pioneer with much success, he has experienced all aspects of life from ground to sky. Today, he is respected by each & every individual of the community as he assists anyone in need, with passion. I believe I speak for all 4 sons when I say, “you & mother are not only the roots of our lives, but the true happiness in our World.”
