We had the good fortune of connecting with Sheila Rivera and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sheila, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to help the immigration community with integrity and honesty.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I have been an Attorney since 2012. But I opened my law firm in 2020.I open my Law Firm in 2020, three months before the pandemic. I am most proud of the team (Staff) that we have at the office. We all love our job, and we love to see our clients prosper and move forward in this new country they choose to live. I have to say I got here with boldness, 200% faith, mentorship and advise by Attorney William Bloodworth. It was not easy but it is worth it. Lessons are believing in your self, and act with integrity. We will make financial mistakes but we learn from them, cut the losses and move on. The most important asset in my office is the team spirit we have and the level of honesty and integrity in which we perform our job. The standard in which I train the team is excellence and I don’t want anything less.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I will take a friend to eat at San Eatery at Katy Cinco Ranch. I will take a friend to church with me (Powerhouse church at Katy). Aldo to drink hot chocolate at La Centerra.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
God for giving me this love and ability to hep others, Jesus and the Gospel of truth and hope encourages me to not quit, not to give up. Powerhouse Church organization and the community of believers that has supported me, my parents David Rivera and Wanda Vazquez for encouraging me to educate my self, my aunt Diana Friedel and my uncle Michael Friedel for believing in me.
