Hi Sonia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
Starting my own business was always something I knew I would do a some point of my life. I have always had a strong entrepreneurial mindset. So for me once I knew I was at a point with my legal career that I could also handle a small business I decided to finally open up my online clothing boutique. My thought process behind my e-commerce boutique was making women feel sexy and confident with what they wear. I’m a huge advocate of women supporting other women so a lot of what I carry on my site is made for that boss lady who can wear the dress to work, on the way to close a deal, and to a date night .

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Being a entrepreneur as well as working a 9-5 isn’t as glamorous as a lot of folks think it might be, in fact it’s a lot of work I’m not going to lie. What I love about not only being in the legal field but also having a business is all that knowledge you learn in law school and undergraduate I am applying in my business everyday. That is something I am forever grateful and is what sets me apart from other business owners.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person I would like to recognize for all my hard work and success is my father, Sam. He has always supported us growing up and raising three kids after my mom passed about 9 years ago was a tough job but he pushed us to be the best possible versions of ourselves and to follow our dreams. I would not be where I am today without my parents, especially my dad.
