We had the good fortune of connecting with Sydney Guy and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sydney, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Customer Service and client communication, I grew up in a household where my mom taught me how to serve others and how to care for other people beyond how i felt. Going into my working career I worked in the service (restaurant industry) where I had to learn putting others needs before my own. Going into my business, I’ve applied this in creating space where clients are always aware of what’s happening, where we communicate effectively which allows our clients to trust us on anther level. That kind of trust allows us to move freely, actually be our own bosses and take care of our bodies the way we need to when we need to. It all stems from the way we communicate with our clients and how we serve them when they are present, that allows us to gain flexibility and trust when we’re away.
What should our readers know about your business?
My brand includes a piece of me in every setting, in the Business name, the services, the client interaction, the trainings my therapist go through. It all incorporates my vision for Luxury style services that everyone can participate in. I.m excited about new clients that come in and experience care like they never have before, I am excited to see results, I am excited when people come back to us and FEEL a difference because they have made a lifestyle change that benefits them in the long run. We are set apart in our intentions, not only provide and lead the industry in quality care but also to educate our community of clients of what wellness and self care really means.
I worked for other brands, I learned the ropes the things that i did and didn’t like, and I created something that a owner, employee and client would be proud to call their spa home. I took on every task head first and full forced. If someone couldn’t help me for free basically I did it for myself and in that i learned every corner of my business and how to step in at any position. It has never been easy, and It actually gets harder every quarter. But, I overcame with prayer, encouragement from friends and family, REST, gratitude and most importantly Faith.
Eventually, I learned the value of combining two brains and moving forward with more force rather than running the race on my own. I’ve learned to firstly stay grounded, remember why I started and what my goals are, secondly that teams matter, allies matter and focusing on your strong points and letting others focus on theirs matters. My biggest accomplishment as a business owner thus far and I believe forever will be, is letting go, remembering that I didn’t make it this far to just fail, and If I do, I’ve touched so many lives in the process. I just strive to make everyday a little bit better, and make more of a difference than I did yesterday.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
There have been lots of people in and out of my life who have pushed me a little further in the right direction, But my mother is the main source. There is no one who deserves recognition more than her, she’s been everything that i’ve needed her to be at all times.
