We had the good fortune of connecting with Tamar Turner and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Tamar, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The most important factor behind the success of the podcast would definitely be consistency. For me, it is about continuing to push through and deliver quality content even on days where I may not feel up to it or am simply procrastinating. It is about recognizing that I am not doing this solely for me but also for the success of others. As long as I can continue to stay consistent and diversify my content, the sky is the limit for the Down 2 Business Podcast.

What should our readers know about your business?
The Down 2 Business Podcast is all about shedding light and providing exposure to business owners, entrepreneurs and artists all over the world via interviews. I am definitely most proud of the success I have been able to achieve thus far. I am on my way to celebrating two years in November and have been able to amass nearly 6,000 plays since my introduction episode.

It was certainly not easy reaching this point in the journey, but when you love what you do it makes you appreciate the process that much more. Overcoming challenges is a part of life and the sooner I recognized and accepted that, the quicker things all began coming together.

There is only one way to find out what truly sets me a part from others. TAP IN! Whether you listen to an episode or come on for an interview, you’ll get an experience unlike any other. Lastly, something that I truly take pride in is not preparing my interview beforehand. I do the necessary research on your craft and you but everything is natural and genuine from the minute I hit the record button.

I want the world to know the Down 2 Business Podcast wants EVERYONE to come on and tell their story and we will be making national headlines someday!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Being in South Tampa has shown me a lot of memorable views especially in the downtown and channel side area. Personally, I labeled 2021 the ‘Year of the Foodie’ so we can run down the list and try every spot possible from downtown to Ybor City.

As someone who loves being behind the camera too I would love to go visit some of the beaches and just bask in the beautiful views from sun up to sun down.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I love this question because there is really not one specific answer for me. I attribute my success to a but of everything from my past and current experiences to strangers who I have never met but have shown nothing but love on social media or however we have come in contact. I recognize that everyone can take something different from my brand and what it is I am trying to accomplish for others and I think that is the beauty of it all. I appreciate EVERYONE wholeheartedly because you all are truly what keeps me going day in and day out.

But I would be remiss if I didn’t thank my parents for instilling in me the principles and knowledge that they have to allow me to become the man I am today and decide to take this path in my life.
