Hi tanya, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My ultimate goal has always been entrepreneurship. I wanted the freedom that comes with owning a business, and I wanted to live a life where work was a seamless part of who I am. Additionally, I was born and raised with an entrepreneurial spirit. Several members of my family run their own businesses, so it felt very natural. For me, working in a fluorescent-lit cubical from 9-5 just wasn’t an option.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Content Haus was founded in 2020 and has a contemporary and candid approach to branding and marketing. Existing in the space between art and advertising. We help brands connect with their right audience through consistent messaging in an authentic and compelling way, by helping them develop their brand voice. We also provide turnkey social media management solutions.

Our services are tailored to meet the specific needs of companies of all sizes, whether it’s content creation or full-service social management.

Most of our clients are small/medium-sized businesses looking to define their brand voice, refresh their visual identity, scale their social-media footprint, and strengthen their marketing strategy, without taking on full-time hires.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
“No one walks in LA” and the same can be said for Houston, a city so large it has multiple downtowns. So, if I had to describe a perfect day, I would say riding bikes through our surprisingly flat city. However, I would stick to the bayou trails because they are more scenic and safer. You can easily cruise from neighborhood to neighborhood finding tasty snack stops and watering holes along the way. With a week-long trip, you will have time for a trip to Surfside. A stretch of beach south of touristy Galveston. It’s a great place to get your toes wet, run your dog, shoot you can even camp and bonfire on some of these beaches. On the way back into town swing by a fish market to grab some fresh redfish to grill.

My OG hype girl is my mother, Cathey. She’s always encouraged my tenacious energy into meaningful work and has always had my back.
