We had the good fortune of connecting with Taylor Houston-Davis and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Taylor, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
when starting my own business all I thought about was generational wealth and the mark I would leave behind for my children my family and community
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
what I feel that sets me aside is that I’m mad creative I never say no I can’t do something I always aim to give my customers exactly what they want or the vision they gave me
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
houston rodeo im a huge country fan we would start off with brunch at Phil and dereks voodoo rolls and cajun seafood pasta such at the turkey leg hut then head to rodeo which we haven’t been able to do since the start of covid enjoy rides beer out of a cowboy boot funnel cake fried cheese cake and a large lemonade and hopefully a Luke combs concert to finish out the night
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
my husband 100% when I was unhappy doing other jobs for work he worked harder to help me build and grow the business that I have today and as a business owner himself owning Stopjockinsnoballs Nola he taught and is still teaching me to level up in anything I put on the table
