Hi Teriah, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
“I started my business out of a deep love for music and dance , combined with a strong desire to have control over my own income and schedule. I wanted to turn my passion into something sustainable while also enjoying the freedom and creativity that comes with being my own

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
“I started The CheetahDolls Dance Company 10 years ago, and we’ve grown to three locations: Houston, Dallas, and Plano, Texas. What truly sets us apart from most teams is our consistency and dedication to excellence. My music career began just a year ago—which may seem late to some—but in that short time, I’ve achieved milestones that many artists spend years, even a decade, trying to reach.”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
“Whenever my friends travel to Houston, they always call me for recommendations on where to go. The city has so many great spots for food, music, and entertainment. One of my absolute favorite places to eat is The Breakfast Klub—it’s a must-visit for anyone coming to Houston!”

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
“I truly couldn’t do any of this without God, my family, friends, and supporters. So many people have been part of this journey and have helped me in different ways—emotionally, spiritually, or practically. It wouldn’t feel right to name just a few, because so many have played an important role in where I am today.”
