Meet Tiffany Thompson | Yoga Instructor and Farm Director

We had the good fortune of connecting with Tiffany Thompson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tiffany, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I was feeling completely burnt out in my medical sales career. While it was financially stable, it lacked the sense of purpose and fulfillment I was craving. I wanted to create something that felt meaningful—something that made a real difference in people’s lives.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve always loved animals and dreamed of having my own farm filled with them. Nature has always been my therapy, and over the past few years, I also fell in love with yoga. The idea of combining my three biggest passions—nature, animals, and yoga—felt like a dream come true.
I earned my degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Houston, so owning a business was always part of my long-term plan—I just hadn’t found the right idea yet. What started small and slow eventually blossomed into what is now ROSE Therapeutic Farm & Goat Yoga. The move to our beautiful 12-acre location in Brookshire was a game-changer and allowed us to grow into a space that truly reflects our mission and values.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
At ROSE Therapeutic Farm & Goat Yoga, we’re not just offering cute animal encounters—we’re creating meaningful, healing experiences through nature, animals, and connection. What sets us apart is the heart behind everything we do. We believe in the power of slowing down, getting outside, and reconnecting—with ourselves, with animals, and with each other. Every event, class, and visit is built around that purpose.
I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve built and the lives we’ve touched—whether it’s a stressed-out mom finding peace in a goat yoga class, a child lighting up while feeding a baby goat, or a corporate wellness team laughing together during a farm retreat. That’s the magic I always dreamed of creating.
But getting here wasn’t easy. I started this journey while juggling other jobs. There were years of slow growth, financial uncertainty, and a whole lot of learning on the fly. Building a farm from scratch (and learning how to run a business at the same time) has come with every kind of challenge—from animal health emergencies to Texas weather to figuring out how to market something that didn’t really exist yet.
What kept me going was the why. I knew this work mattered. I knew people needed it—just like I did.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth takes time, and perfection is never the goal. Staying grounded in your mission and values makes all the difference. I’ve also learned that asking for help is a strength, not a weakness, and that the people who believe in you—your team, your family, your customers—are everything.
If there’s one thing I want the world to know about me and ROSE Farm, it’s that we are here to truly make a difference. We’re not here to just entertain—we’re here to heal, inspire, and connect people through the simple, profound beauty of farm life. This isn’t just a business. It’s a purpose.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To be honest I’m not the best person for answering this question. I spend most of my time on the farm or in nature… I love Costa Rica, Belize, Krause Springs (Texas), Canyon Lake…
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would have to say my Yoga Teacher Training in Morocco… YTTW
