We had the good fortune of connecting with Tim Bridges and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Tim, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
Finding God, connecting, praying to a hire power than my own ego. Searching for the middle path in all daily activities. Breathing techniques to help control my mind, exercising for my body, and being in touch with nature for my soul. Regulated natural diet/supplements, drinking large quantities of purified water throughout the day, reading labels on products that go in and on your body. Great note taking and organizing contacts. and keeping an organized desk calendar. Spending 16+ hour days behind a desk/cpu, sometimes 7 days a week. While working, watching, reading, listening to inspirational leaders speak as well as their positive actions. Don’t watch TV or Sporting Events. Staying on top of top technology and learning multiple new applications quickly and then teaching them to associates. Networking in busy business sectors and showing a healthy respect for all those you do business with and pay respects to you. Investing in time saving minimalist fashion style, because my wife would want me to say that.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Nothing comes easy in life, and it damn sure doesn’t in business. I am proud of our small businesses weathering the economic “perfect storm” that was oil crisis/covid. When the dust settled we emerged victorious, that is a testament of our strength. We were able to diversify into a few different business sectors that kept our firm stable. If our firm can thrive in that market, I’m excited to see what can we accomplish in a market with good job growth. With our new focused business sectors, large network, and increased word of mouth we are going to be able to help many families. We have already helped many people in their career during the most difficult time of their life.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
With our recent move to The Texas Hill Country, I would probably have to take them fishing on the Medina River, Bar in Bandera, Restaurants in Fredericksburg, or a local Winery.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
It would be hard to name everyone, but my true friends/family all know they have played a role in making me the man that stands before you today. Most importantly my wife and children have taught me so much and provided the best support a guy could ask for. 2nd shoutout also goes to my wife on her inspirational work she’s completed at www.3rdPartyPeople.com. My Entire Family-Thanks Aunt Diane, Delta Tau Delta Organization-EZ Chapter-Gamma Nu, Sam Houston State University Alumni Association, Pipeliners Association of Houston, San Antonio Pipeliners Association, every teacher, boss, coworker, classmate I’d ever had. I most cherish every single business/personal relationship our companies has been blessed with.
