We had the good fortune of connecting with Uriel Rubio and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Uriel, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
We believe that looking good & doing good for the environment can go hand in hand. The importance of finding sustainable alternatives to products we use in our everyday life is something that more and more of us are gradually becoming aware of. that is why our sunglasses are entirely made out of recycled & sustainable materials. We help the environment by reducing the use of plastics, also by creating awareness among our customers & followers about the use of sustainable products, and my personal favorite, by planting a tree for every pair of sunglasses we sell.

What should our readers know about your business?
One of my main motivators is knowing that even at a smaller scale we are contributing & promoting change & making our planet a greener place. The process wasn’t easy, it took a lot of work, dedication, passion & commitment. It was challenging trying to compete with the big name brands that have been well stablished for years, that however made me work twice as hard to get to where I am now. Success is always much more gratifying when you know you deserve it because you worked hard for it.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
