Hi Vanessa, how do you think about risk?
Thinking about taking risks has been a big part of my life, shaping both my personal story and career path. I believe that taking chances is crucial for moving forward and feeling fulfilled. Looking back, one big moment stands out. Two years ago, my partner and I made a bold choice to leave Florida and start fresh in Houston. It was a scary decision, but it showed how important taking risks can be. Even though we didn’t know what would happen, we believed better opportunities awaited us. This leap into the unknown highlighted risk-taking’s role in shaping our lives. Despite the challenges of starting over in a new place, we learned so much about ourselves and how to overcome obstacles. Looking back now, it’s clear that every risk we took helped us grow and move forward. We left behind everything we had built over the past 10-plus years – jobs, family, friends – but in doing so, we discovered new possibilities and opportunities for growth. Taking risks isn’t always easy, but it’s often worth it in the end. Even if things don’t go as planned, there’s always something to learn from the experience, and we can always try again.

My work revolves around empowering individuals to succeed in the digital world, serving as a coach and mentor who guides them from the ground up. What sets me apart is my unwavering dedication to helping others become better versions of themselves and achieve success in their endeavors. I take pride in offering accessible and personalized support, making complex digital concepts understandable, and fostering genuine connections. My journey hasn’t been easy—I’ve had to overcome fears and doubts, but by stepping out of my comfort zone and taking risks, I’ve grown both personally and professionally. Along the way, I’ve learned the importance of perseverance, empathy, and the profound impact even small gestures can have on others. Ultimately, I want the world to know that my brand is built on authenticity and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people’s lives, one step at a time.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If I were to plan an itinerary for my friends visiting the area, I’d opt to explore the underrated and unexplored North Houston suburbs, which offer a wealth of hidden gems. Here’s a glimpse of what I’d include:

Depending on the time of year, CityPlace hosts various events and festivals, offering entertainment options for visitors of all ages. After your paddling adventure, unwind on the lakefront and enjoy a picnic lunch or snack, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area.

I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my boyfriend. I’m blessed to have him in my life because he believes in me and supports my dreams of becoming a content creator and a digital businesswoman. His unwavering support, encouragement, and willingness to take risks alongside me have been instrumental in shaping my journey. Together, we’ve faced challenges head-on, celebrated successes, and navigated life’s uncertainties with resilience and determination. His presence has been a constant source of inspiration and strength, allowing me to focus and dedicate my life to this amazing job. His belief in me and his willingness to provide both emotional and practical support has been nothing short of remarkable. Additionally, I want to acknowledge the countless mentors, friends, my mom, and family members who have offered guidance, wisdom, and support throughout my journey.
