We had the good fortune of connecting with Vanessa Perry and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Vanessa, how do you think about risk?
Becoming a full-time entrepreneur is one of the biggest risks that anyone can take. You must not only believe in your business, but also yourself and your values. As an entrepreneur, you risk everything for your business. In the beginning, you do not know if your business is going to survive. You have to put your personal credit on the line, any assets, along with your time. Working another job just to keep your business afloat is not uncommon for entrepreneurs. The first thing that people think when they hear entrepreneurs is freedom. It is in fact the exact opposite, you live to work. I️ think as an entrepreneur I️ am a risk taker, but I️ have boundaries. As you get more established in business you realize the difference between smart risks and careless risks. Many times in business you will hear of people wanting to be funded by investors or other people’s money. In my opinion, If you do not have skin in the game you do not have value or loss in your own business. It is easy to fail at someone else’s expense. Sometimes this means doing without in order to pay your staff.

What should our readers know about your business?
Impeccable Credit Services has been in business for 18 years. We are constantly growing and evolving to be better than we were in the past. What sets us apart from other credit repair companies is that I️ have been on both ends of the credit repair spectrum. Before being in the credit repair realm I️ was a loan officer. I️ used to send my clients to credit repair companies and went through all the bumps and bruises trying to find a legitimate company that cared. When I️ had the opportunity to own a credit repair company I️ took into consideration all of the things I️ liked and disliked from the experiences of trail and error with the other companies. We have physical locations, 24/7 online access and a team that always knows what is going on with each client. We go the extra mile to provide education in order for our clients to understand how credit works to prevent reoccurring credit mishaps. We care about our clients financial future and their goals from the beginning of the process until fruition.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I️ would suggest brunch at State of Grace and Mastro’s for dinner. I️ do not go out for drinks, but if you want good music and a good time I️ suggest Cle’ for a night out. I️ usually spend my time running the trails when I’m not working or working out.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I️ credit my daughter for the motivation to succeed. I️ always wanted to be a good role model for her and being able to provide a comfortable lifestyle. Everything that I️ have accomplished has been for us and I️ did not have a mentor or person to look up to while I️ was building and developing Impeccable Credit Services.
