Hi Vempre, what matters most to you?

Courage is the value in life that has shown me time and time again that it speaks volumes in every season at all times of the day. Having strength in the face of adversity is no easy task, but I have been blessed to have this as a key aspect of who I am. There have been points in my life when I have felt like throwing in the towel and giving up, but one thing stood out to me that kept me going: courage. When you have courage within your spirit, you are willing to take risks. By taking a risk, you can reach great heights in life that you never would have achieved if you would not have had the courage to pursue them. With courage as a strong value within me, faith is a spiritual point in my life that has led me to rise above the status quo. Knowing this, I have a drive within me that motivates me not to settle for mediocrity when I know that having courage will lead me toward excellence in life.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Expressing myself in a way that inspires others is certainly what I am confident sets me apart from others. All it takes is hearing a set of words when I am standing in a line at a store, reading a biblical scripture, or having a song’s lyrics speak to me for me to gain inspiration to reach out to others. Whether writing a book, a speech, a poem, or a song to present myself to others, my creativity rings out through my gift of writing. This was greatly seen when I wrote my first book, “The Eyes of Faith.” Even so, my gift of positively reaching out to others with words does not stop with writing. As I sit down with small groups or stand in front of large audiences, my blessing as a motivational speaker echoes through me to my listeners. Entertainment is certainly another point that positively keeps me busy. When I have opportunities to present myself through entertainment, I love to show the talent of acting that exists within me. Reaching my current accomplishments has not been an easy task. Courage has been a key factor that has allowed me to leap into new heights. Prayer, biblical studies, and risk-taking have certainly been driving points in my life that have allowed me to overcome my challenges. The best lessons that I have learned in life are not to give up when you face challenges, keep the faith in troubled times, and let your difficulties serve as lessons for you. I can definitely say that what I want the world to know about me is that I am a man who allows his courage and faith to let him stand strong in life.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would definitely recommend visiting downtown to enjoy the hotspots that are well-known in the area. Gaining a good visit to the NRG Stadium bursts into my mind as something visitors should also be sure to do. It is the home of the Houston Texans, the location of many additional sporting events, concerts, and numerous other happenings that come to Houston. The Galleria also pops into my mind as a place that readers should visit to ensure that their trip through the city gains a great checkmark. Space Center Houston is also a place I highly recommend including as a part of the visiting itinerary. EDUCATIONAL and ENTERTAINING are certainly two words that serve to describe what the visit to Space Center Houston would be like.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I cannot say enough that the person who deserves the greatest recognition for having such a pivotal role in my life is my mother. From the best of days to the worst of days, she has shown me love and encouragement that has inspired me to look up to the Lord with courage. Her great efforts to make certain that I have always had the best of the best, as well as her positive mentorship, have ensured a spirit of perseverance within me that keeps me going day in and day out. My mother has instilled in me the need to pray and consistently read the Bible in order to strengthen my relationship with God. No matter how big or small my accomplishments happen to be, I can certainly say that my mother deserves recognition for helping me to reach them!
