We had the good fortune of connecting with Wendy Hutchinson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Wendy, what’s your definition for success?
Having the courage to align with myself 100% and honor that alignment in all aspects of my life defines success for me. Great courage is required to break away from social norms and expectations and lock in and find your own lane. I discovered great strength and power within me as I released things that weren’t aligned with my core values and no longer served me. This required a complete evaluation of all aspects of my life. Success is becoming the highest and best version of yourself and in turn extending a hand to help others.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
If you strip away the titles, I am an Energy Alchemist. I guide people through the process of life transitions and difficulties and I help shift and change the mindset and energy they bring to their every day life. Nikola Tesla once said “if you want to know the secret of the universe think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration”. Our reality is shaped by who we are energetically, our thoughts, behaviors and choices are key. There’s a direct resonance with how we show up in the world and the reality we experience in our day to day lives. When we shift our perspective and align with our truth, we attract all that is in resonance with that vibe. Life smooths out and becomes calmer and easier to navigate.
I create a sacred space for people to release emotions, feelings and behaviors that hold them back and connect to themselves as the empowered beings they are. Through the alchemy and release of that dense energy people hold onto, they become the best versions of themselves. What I’m most excited about is the opportunity to teach people how to navigate these difficult times with grace. Faith and belief in yourself is the key to becoming whole and complete. I’m currently writing a book on how I found my way back to myself and life purpose. It required courage to align with my truth. The evolution was challenging and brought me to my knees many times. It’s hard to face ourselves and really look at unhealthy thought patterns/behaviors and own it.
As you go through the process of transformation you are the caterpillar turning into a butterfly. That chrysalis stage is a killer, I’m here to support people through the process! We must put ourselves first because we are the foundation of everything we create in our lives. Sometimes it’s hard to navigate change on your own. I am your accountability partner, cheerleader, and support system throughout the coaching process.
We are here for evolution and personal growth. Everything we experience mirrors and reflects our relationship with ourselves. Handling ourselves with kid gloves through this shift and practicing self care is critical. The commitment to releasing everything that no longer served me was key to my success. It comes down to living a conscious life and being aware of the things you are choosing. Are you going to take yourself higher or remain the same? It’s all a choice.
Through my work as a Marconic Energy Practitioner I offer assistance to people who feel called to align energetically with their highest potential. I am removing karmic debris which is all the stuff you are holding onto that isn’t in resonance with your truth. I’ve had people leave a session and call off an engagement or make a job shift. The pivot is that fast. When you are completely aligned energetically with yourself and your inner being, your life path accelerates. It’s such an honor to do this work for individuals and provide workshops, a YouTube Channel interview series called “The Path of Me”, and publish articles that help people navigate their way forward. What I’ve learned is we are all born with a very specific purpose. Everyone has the gifts at birth to be who they are meant to be, but they get pulled off track along the way. Cultural and family expectations tell us it’s not OK to be ourselves or pursue our dreams. If everyone believed that, there would be no innovation or music or art, we would all be dropped neatly into little boxes of someone else’s design, our dreams smothered by the need to fit in. It is possible to come back to center and align with your highest self. You are all far greater than you believe yourselves to be and it’s time to release all the doubt and fear at this very pivotal time in our history.
The world needs each and everyone of you to show up as YOU, not a version that someone else feels is appropriate and acceptable. Everything is possible in this now moment, but it requires faith in yourself. I want the world to know that we all have that seed of greatness within us. My work as a guide, coach, energy alchemist and Marconic Energy Practitioner provides all the tools to take you wherever you wish to go. My story is one of overcoming great adversity, shedding an old outdated story, letting go of social expectation and finding the courage to step into my light. My success is reflected in the beautiful lives my clients are choosing to create using the tools I provide. The work will change your life, but you must be willing to go into that chrysalis to turn into a butterfly.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
There are so many delicious places to eat in Houston. A few favorites are Kiran’s, Local Foods, The Pit room, Gen’s Korean BBQ, Fadi’s, and the Blind Goat downtown. For sushi I’d go to Nippon on Montrose. Places to visit are the Natural Science Museum, Nasa, Herman Park, and maybe catch a game at NRG or check out the Astros or Rockets downtown. If a good concert or play was happening we’d check out the Toyota Center. A history walking tour or bike ride along the Buffalo Bayou is a fun activity. If a friend visited in March the Rodeo would happen for sure. I know this sounds weird, but Glenwood Cemetery is super cool to check out. If we had time I’d head down to the Rainforest Pyramid in Moody Gardens by Galveston. For coffee/tea we’d visit Cafe Brasil, Revival Market, EQ, Cafe Poete, McHugh Tea, Tout Suite, or the Secret Garden. Houston is such a cool city!
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to dedicate my shout out to my husband Mike and both my sons for providing me with the opportunity to grow into the person I am today, and to my soul sisters Melissa Boudreaux Groves and Vanessa Uybarreta without whom I probably would not have made it this far in my journey.
