We had the good fortune of connecting with Yereldy Diaz and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yereldy, how has your perspective on work-life balance evolved over time?
Balancing my life has been a big adjustment! As a woman of many hats, sometimes it’s impossible to do everything in one day. For me, my mommy hat comes first. Everything revolves around my childrens needs. I’ve had to learn how to prioritize thing, and definitely get my kids on schedule, it’s stressful but once you find that right balance for you it’s easy road.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Ye’Creations was launched during the Pandemic. It started as something to do for fun. The idea was to provide vegan lip gloss and lip scrubs for girls all around the US & Mexico. And it quickly expanded into me doing start up kits & found myself deeper into the business side. Creating business needs such as labels, stickers, websites , flyers and logos for myself and other small businesses. Previous to the pandemic I was working at a night club as a bartender! I had already picked a few private events but nothing major. Until it hit me! Why not sell daiquiri drinks? Why not provide my services to others? I started making drinks and advertising on Facebook. I sold out my first week! Every day! From there ideas just came left and right, ways to expend my bartending skills, so I came up with Ye’Bar’ With the pandemic still going , I had to find a system where every ones health safety wouldn’t be compromised. Bookings for private events took a turn due to not many venues allowing parties/gatherings. But I kept pushing , and til this day I keep pushing. Proud and thankful that people still choose Ye’Bar to provide their alcoholic needs!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Dallas has a lot of cool places to check out if you are ever in town! Stop by Art Park for adult fun and drinks! Check out wings world (south Dallas) and wings city(garland) for the best wings in town! Rudy’s has the best hood chicken! Pancho tacos is a hidden gem in the Harry Hines area! Best authentic tacos in the city hands down!
If you have a sweet tooth, hit up my girl Edna at Churroland in Garland!
My LGBT people it ain’t a party if you don’t catch the Wanda show at Marty’s Friday-Sunday it’s always a party!
And of course if you are ever in the city , message me to place your drink with Ye’’Bar !

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Awwww man! Ive always been blessed to have a good support system behind me. But the #1 person who I’ve always be thankful for teaching me the ropes is Ernie Robledo. Ernie is a local DFW bartender, who took the time out to teach me every thing I needed to know about bartending! And of course my mother and my brother🫶🏽 They have always supported me through every decision I’ve made. And lastly, my first born, Zayden. He’s what pushed me to take that big step, to keep going every day! Blessings to y’all fr!
