We had the good fortune of connecting with Yshaundra Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yshaundra, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
It all started when I was younger, I started dancing and I’ve noticed the creativity in my dances. It would be a mix of ballet, jazz, and my favorite modern. It’s me putting together sold-out productions full of singing, dancing, spoken word, flags, and more. I will bring in popcorn, sweets, food, and jewelry vendors to hype up the event. These productions are like Disneyland to the kids that attend. The production and film side is also mind-blowing. I hire photographers and videographers to capture dynamic moments. When I publish the footage on social media it gets so much attention from people all over the world. I enjoy creating art. I have an armor sewing company where I design flags and sharp garments for dancers all over the country. Years ago I started pursuing a creative career simply because I fell in love with being creative. Recently, I left my job of 6 years to pursue my education and pursue my creative career. Waking up every day doing what I love is a career I look forward to daily.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Prophetic Armor is a phenomenal creative company. We gather vision and bring it to life. We create Eagle Flags, Purpose Flags, Prophetic Flags, Flow Flags, Veils, Streamers, Banners and Overlays for creatives all over the country. We bring in different colors, patterns, materials and more. When our customers open the package there reactions are priceless. It’s even more beautiful to see them go live on social media or post beautiful pictures and tag Prophetic Armor. We started this business in the beginning of COVID-19 and it has been growing nonstop. It was not easy, we believe the beginning was the most difficult part of starting this company. We’ve wasted so much money at the beginning. We were trying different materials, and different methods so our work could stand out. Once we’ve created our methods, we were on the roll. The most orders we’ve received in one day was 25. I was working full-time and creating for the creatives. Balance is something we are focusing on this year. It can become overwhelming when you have to focus on school, graduation and teaching Freedom Reign Courses. We have been in business for 3 years and the goal is to continue what we’ve started for the creatives.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
It will have to be a close best friend because I don’t get out as much. If I were to go out and show some friends a good time it will be Downtown Georgia on Auburn Street where we can go to the museums, walk through Martin Luther King Jr. home, eat some authentic foods down there. Next, we would go to the Battery which is a part of the Braves Stadium. I know it to well because I worked for the Braves for 6 years up until recently. There’s restaurants, stores to shop, dancing floors, ride the bull, DJ’s on the spot and more. Everyone loves Georgia foods so food will definitely be a go to.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Recognition goes out to my mentors Walter & Shawnetta Green (CWOW), Danielle McGee (PPDM) and of course my Family- Wrights. Support goes a long way and I wouldn’t be where I am today with the love and of my support system.
