We had the good fortune of connecting with Yuliana Gonzalez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Yuliana, what do you want your legacy to be?
Anything is possible! iyuliphotograph is much more than just a photographer. I am a daughter, sister, tia and a mum and no matter what your dreams are, they can come true! Even if it looks impossible, I promise it isn’t. That dream that you have in your heart isn’t for no reason, its because you are capable of doing all that it takes for it to come true. I want to be the hope and inspiration to all the women and men that have so much on their plate, hoping and praying their dreams will still come true. They will! I am living proof, you just have to take that first step.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
iyuliphotograph is a female photograph who came up from beating the odds of being a single mom, while working a 9-6 job and chasing her photography dreams. Despite all the negative challenges I’ve faced, growing up and as an adult. The only thing that was still hopeful and beautiful to me, was what I would see through my camera lens. iyuliphotograph shoots just about anything from portraits, events, fashion, product, lifestyle to also being a personal photographer. But my favorite is urban photography, anything that has to do with Houston and Houstonians . I love my city and the people in it, our culture is so rare and different from the rest and that is what’s so special about my photography. “if iyuli didn’t shoot it, were you even there”

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Definitely taking them to the museum of fine arts, turkey leg hut, Slab Sunday Funday and any event(s) Houston artist(s) will be at.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
This shoutout is dedicate to a few people who have helped me and always believed in iyuliphotograph. First and foremost, God. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for his grace, love and mercy.
