The Coronavirus has given many us an opportunity to pause and think about life, our purpose, and even the right work life balance. What’s your perspective and has it changed over time?
Maggie Yurachek | Wedding, Portrait, & Event Photographer
I think it’s my curiosity and care for people. I do my best to understand their photographic wants and desires while identifying on a personal level. Clients express feeling almost immediately at ease with me and we have fun together. In many cases we walk away as friends. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know my clients so that I may better and more honestly represent them in my photography. This applies to all of my photography; however, is especially valuable in my wedding and portrait photography. I think that my attention to the client allows me to capture emotion in a very authentic way which in turn yields a high rate of return business. This is the best compliment to me as a photographer. Nickole Kerner Bobley | Artfeel Creator, Producer and Former Show Host
There was a need for a community event that welcomed area artists and provided them a place to perform their art/to express themselves in a supportive creative setting as well as simply gather together to learn of each other’s upcoming events and meet one another and discuss art. So, the Artfeel show filled those voids. I also attribute its success to the incredible team of people who produce the show together: The Woodlands Arts Council’s Jenny Wright, Claire Karl, and Kayla Trascher as well as Gideon Bustmante, David Deveau, and the show performers. I feel strongly that Artfeel has grown and found so much success over the years, because of Gideon Bustamante’s incredible talent and David Deveau’s amazing performances and dance world contacts and warm, approachable emcee skills.
