Jordan Rogas | Artist and Interior Designer

I am originally from Houston but I have spent the last 15 years exploring the world from New York city to living abroad in Florence and Paris. I earned my MFA from Parsons in History of Decorative Arts and Design and have always pursued personal art courses to harness my talents. Many classes over the years have been taken at the Glassell School here in Houston. All of these intellectual and creative pursuits culminated in the creation of Eye of Curiosity in wanting to inspire other’s to push beyond the boundaries of their comfort zones. Read more>>

I was born and raised here in Houston, Texas. I grew up in a southern styled home with five siblings and loving parents. My father and mother adopted my three sisters when I was four years old. At the time of the adoption my father was the only parent who worked. He made just enough to support my two brothers and myself, so bringing three more little girls into our home very quickly became a challenge in itself both mentally and financially. I was born here in Houston, Tx, my parents are from Tamaulipas, Mexico. I was raised in Texas and Mexico, we would go back and fourth growing up. It made me appreciate the life my parents gave us even more. I saw 1st hand the lack of opportunity this is the biggest impact on why I started my business. Low income communities such as the ones I grew up in lack information on education, and the different pathways available. I saw this need and decided that I wanted to create educational opportunities for anyone that wanted to go into a fast growing industry, all while growing our economy by creating new jobs. Read more>>
