We had the good fortune of connecting with Brittney Addison and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brittney, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
The thought process behind our business was, “What can we do to provide a healthier option in our community?” There are plenty of vegan options in the Houston and surrounding areas, but there wasn’t one near our community. We are working to provide that for the Missouri City/Sugarland/ Fort Bend area.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My husband and I are both Educators. That profession in itself has many struggles and challenges. We endure them because we want to make a difference in as many children as we can.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely hit up different food truck parks around town. They tend to have the best eats. We would hang at The Flat for all the vibes. We would also do some activities like The Color Factory, Siesmique, or any other exhibits/museums.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
We would love to shout-out Seven Seeds BBQ truck. They didn’t know us, but they gave us the opportunity to see how a food truck is ran. We are so appreciative of their support.
We would also love to shout out our family and friends for their donations, encouragement, and support.
Last, but not least we want to shout out Frank Perkins the creator of the Minority Experience and owner of The Power Lounge( opening soon) for giving us the exposure in our community.
