We had the good fortune of connecting with Rashaundra Murphy and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rashaundra, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I seen so many people around me making money and tapping into their creative side of life. I had to ask myself why aren’t you doing those type of things for yourself. I then started to think what could I possibly do to start making the same money everyone around me is making. Then I started to brainstorm ideas. That’s when it hit me what is something I’m good at. I came to the conclusion on making mixed drinks alcohol and non-alcohol.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
So my business is very unique I not only can mix alcohol drinks but non-alcohol as well. Your typical juices in your local grocery store I mix those as well. I always put my own little spin and make it different. I never seen myself making these kind of moves in my life but I’m forever grateful for the opportunities that come my way. This can be challenging as well you’re faced up against numerous businesses that do the same thing you do. So you have to kinda set the bar differently. Lessons are always exposed in this field everybody want like what you make and that’s ok. You have to find what’s gone attract the people and keep them coming.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
So here in Atlanta,Ga I have a few spots that I always tend to go too. If we wanted to grab a few drinks and ride the bull I would take them to Ubar. If they wanted some good fried chicken with music and hookah we would definitely hit up Harold’s Chicken and Ice Bar. I love the Georgia aquarium it’s so big and definitely A lot to see. It’s so many sports events and concert events we would definitely have to check it out.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would definitely shoutout to my mother, grandmother, and my friends. Those people know who they are. They have watched me start from the bottom up with my crazy ideas, taste testing my drinks, and showing up for me at my popup shop events. I truly appreciate you all more thank you all know!
